Fulham: League Form and team news

Fulham’s season is potentially over already. 14 points clear of the relegation zone and 12 points off the European places, the Cottagers are in limbo as we speak and their form suggests a mid table finish is on the cards. With three wins in the last five games, form has improved and it could prove to be a problem for Spurs on the weekend.

Fulham’s main man at the moment is Antonee Robinson and he has been consistently dangerous at left back moving forward. With five assists to his name and not one to shy away from a tackle, he has been vital in how Marco Silva’s men have played this year.

The Cottagers will be without striker Raul Jimenez, who was injured about a month ago, but other than his absence Fulham will be at full strength.

Spurs: League form and team news

Currently fifth place in the Premier League and hoping to move into fourth place with a win against Fulham, Spurs will be buoyed by the fact they beat top four rivals Aston Villa emphatically last time out. With three wins, one draw and a loss in their last five, Ange Postecoglu has been enjoying a good first year in England and has bred a feeling of confidence to a Spurs side who were heavily damaged from last season.

Tottenham will be looking to former Chelsea man Timo Werner for goals on the weekend. The German has scored in his previous two games and brought even more energy up front to Postecoglu’s side.

Spurs will certainly be without Fraser Forster, Ryan Sessengon and more importantly Micky van de Ven who was injured at Villa Park last Sunday.

Who will win on the weekend?

Spurs are favourites for the clash on the weekend at 21/20 whereas Fulham are 11/5. However, it would not be out of the realms of possibility if Fulham put in a performance like they did at Old Trafford a mere three weeks ago then Spurs could be in for a difficult afternoon.

Having mentioned Werner to score goals for Spurs he is currently 13/2 to be the first goalscorer but if you fancy the hero of that Manchester United clash Alex Iwobi you could get the exact same odds for the Fulham man to score first.
